A Banshee is a ghost from Ireland, also knowing as a screaming lady, woman of the fairy mound or fairy woman. A Banshee only shows it self when a person has dead it will scream/ wails. She does this to herald the dead family member. Her name is connected to the mythologically important tumuli or mounds. She is a female spirit. They where first talked about in 1825. The  people look at her is like she in an omen of death. The banshee takes meany different form throughout time. Some people think she is a pail lady with Cristal eyes and white hair, others see her as an old lady with a sad face, black hair, white skin and a hood over her head at all times. But most who see her dead straight after and all people can hear is her screams as she steals the dead away. Some people think she an evil spirit but I don’t think she is, I think she is there to lead the dead to the next place where ever that maybe. Youn know if a love oe is about to dead if you hear the horrifine screams of a Banshee.
