In Norse mythology, for example, Sol (also called Sunna) is the goddess of the sun, while her brother, Mani, is the god of the moon. There are meany different types of this goddess but the one I love the most is the story about the the goddess of the sun was a warrior how protected the planted from burning heat of the sun. The sun goddess in most places are stronger white females but there is a couple of sun goddess are beautiful and attractive black/coloured females. So of these goddess give of a soft glow and wear a lot of gold are armour. They have short black or gold hair and most of them wear jewellery and some sort of crown. They always have a light eyes colour like:
-
Blue
-
Green
-
Yellow
-
Gold
And so on, I think the reason they do this is to show of the beautiful skin tones and also to reflect the colour of the sun or sky.
