Jenny Carless is a collage artist who takes photos and mashes them together to make a beautiful start on the collages. After Jenny does this she scans her work in to the computer and edits it more to make it look seamless. She uses Photoshop and abode to edit her work. She also uses magazines and photos to start her collages. A lot of Jenny Carless collages are done in groups of three which you me a least is more appealing to the eye and makes me more interested in her work.
She loves to use mellow colours which gives people the feeling of love and care, unlike most the collages you see but she can also make you feel unsure and like some one is always watching you. The reason I say this is because the eyes in some of her collages look like they are moving and fallowing you where ever you go. And they are that realistic you could almost mistake them fore real people stuck in a photo ready to grab you if you don't look at them.

I chose to study Jenny Carless collage work because of her beautiful colour palette and her chose in photos. To me she has a soft style when doing her work like she takes care when putting thing in down on paper. All of her work has a more girly touch to them, what I mean is everything is sharp, soft and light. White when you look at her work you can tell a woman did it but that is just my a pinyon on her work. If I was to recreate her work i would just a more light colour palette to make the subject stand out more.
The way she places the peaces down to makes these models in her collages are almost seamless and look like Jenny tuck a photo and placed it on a bright and eye catching background. White is also one of the reasons I love her work.
